Section 01

What it protects against

Everyday damage

Sun · Droppings · Sap · Water marks

Protection from everyday damage.

The coating takes the hit, so your paint doesn’t. Most marks rinse or wipe away.

Exterior coatings

01 · Sun and UV

紫外線

Helps prevent fading, oxidation and loss of gloss from years of strong sun.

Glass treatments

02 · Droppings

鳥のフン

Acidic droppings sit on the coating, not in the clear coat, and wash off more easily.

Interior protection

03 · Tree sap

樹液

Sap is less likely to bond, so it lifts off without hard scrubbing.

Care products

04 · Bug splatter

虫

Front ends clean up faster after a long drive.

Exterior coatings

05 · Water spots

水垢

Bore water and rain run off instead of drying into marks.

Exterior coatings

06 · Sunscreen

日焼け止め

Interior coatings help seats and trim resist sunscreen, food and drink stains.

Exterior coatings

07 · Dust and grime

ほこり

Red dust, rail dust and road film rinse off more easily.

Exterior coatings

08 · Easier washing

撥水

Water beads and rolls away, so the car stays cleaner and dries faster.

Less upkeep

No waxing or polishing. Wash as normal and the protection keeps working.

Cleaner for longer

Dirt has less to grip, so the car looks freshly washed for longer.

Professionally applied

Applied by trained technicians at your dealership, in a controlled bay.

Written warranty

Up to 7 years, depending on the product. Terms and conditions apply.

How it works

Japanese chemistry

Polysilazane chemistry

From liquid to glass.

Polysilazane chemistry

It goes on as a liquid. Moisture in the air turns it into a thin layer of real glass, bonded to the surface – no heat lamps and no overnight cure. The chemistry is called polysilazane, and it was developed in Japan.

The advantage

A true glass layer, formed at room temperature – no heat treatment or UV lamp needed.

Questions

Straight answers

Before you ask your dealer

Common questions.

Is it a wax or a polish?

No. It’s a coating that cures into a thin layer of glass bonded to the surface. Wax sits on top and wears away much sooner.

Does it make the car scratch-proof?

Nothing is completely scratch-proof, but it makes a real difference. It cures to a layer of glass rated 9H – the top of the pencil-hardness scale and far harder than your car’s factory clear coat. It stands up to swirls, wash marks, fine scratches and the everyday scuffs that would mark bare paint.

How long does it last?

Up to 7 years, depending on the product – your warranty states the term for your car. A quick maintenance treatment, usually at your annual service, tops up the gloss and water beading and keeps the protection performing for longer.

How do I wash my car afterwards?

As normal, with a pH-neutral shampoo and a soft mitt. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive polish.

Can I apply it myself?

No. Royal Series is applied by trained technicians at participating dealerships.

Where is it made?

Developed and manufactured in Osaka and Hiroshima, Japan.
